About Bill

I tell people I used to teach college. And there are three things a college professor will give a student: a course syllabus, a reading assignment, and a final exam. My Buyers' and Sellers' folders contain letters which begin to outline the Buying and Selling process (my syllabus), and more information than most people want to read (my reading assignment). But the final exam comes after closing when I ask: "Were you more than satisfied with my service?" Now I'm the one who has to pass finals!

My personal “purpose statement”:
To be the REALTOR® for someone else that I wish had helped me when buying and selling homes. During my career as a Minister, I bought and sold homes on five occasions. Each time I was frustrated, confused, and left feeling somewhat helpless. When it looked like I was going to move again, I decided to get my own Real Estate License. I enjoyed the school much more than I expected. And then I realized: selling Real Estate can meet the needs of people and utilize many of the abilities I developed in ministry.

I have helped people through tough decisions and hard times for twenty-two years. I can get you through buying and selling a house!

Teach
I taught part-time at my alma mater and two other colleges for over ten years. I can explain the “ins and outs” of real estate to you.

Communicate
In addition to over two thousand public speaking appearances, I have published dozens of articles, book reviews, and sermons, and led numerous workshops.

Lead
I have served four churches as Senior Pastor for twenty-two years. I have managed three successful building programs. Two state denominational bodies elected me to their Executive Boards.

Learn
I have a Bachelors Degree with honors in Business Administration, a Masters degree, and a Ph.D. (the letters not only stand for doctor of philosophy, but also for Perseverance, highly motivated, and Detail oriented—three characteristics necessary to reach that goal).
